Quick Pickled Scape Recipes

  • 1 Cup Vinegar

  • 1 Cup Water

  • 1 Tbsp Salt

  • 1 Tbsp Sugar

  • Garlic Scapes (Cut to fit the jar)

Boil Vinegar, water, salt and sugar. Pack Scapes into a jar then pour hot brine over them. Seal the jar then refrigerate.
Ready in 3 days and will last 2 to 3 months in the fridge.

Galic Scape Pesto

  • 1 Cup chopped garlic scapes

  • 1/3 Cup Pine nuts or Walnuts

  • 1/2 Cup olive oil

  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese

  • Salt & Lemon juice to taste

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Use on pasta, sandwiches or grilled meats.
